Cleveland was wheeling and dealing at the trade deadline. The Cavs added four key components to their roster in Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson, George Hill, and Rodney Hood.
The Cavaliers rid themselves of the aging Derrick Rose and sent Dwyane Wade home to Miami. They also let go of the dreadful Isaiah Thomas, who has been unable to hit a jump shot since coming back from a major hip surgery. In a three team deal the Cavaliers made the changes needed to overhaul the roster.
While the changes may not push them over the edge in their quest to defeat Golden State, the moves give the team a chance to establish a new identity in the second half of the season, hopefully creating positive momentum heading into the playoffs.
